Eagles Tight End Officially Heads To Injured Reserve
The Philadelphia Eagles have had a whirlwind couple of days, as they suffered their first loss of the 2022 season, along with several injuries, and today, they've confirmed that star tight end Dallas Goedert will miss at least four games with his shoulder injured suffered in that game.
The Eagles are confident that Goedert can return after the four weeks and contribute to their potential playoff run late in the season, but right now, that's a massive loss, and now, they'll rely on second year tight end Jack Still to fill Goedert's shoes. Obviously, a player with just 6 catches for 71 yards in their career won't be expected to step up and play a starring role, but if he can provide Jalen Hurts a sold pass catching option while continuing the solid blocking play that Goedert has shown, they'll still be dangerous going forward.Eagles have placed TE Dallas Goedert on injured reserve, sidelining him a minimum of four weeks.

The defence is solid, the weapons beyond tight end are fantastic and Hurts is playing like an MVP, and if all of those things remain true until Goedert returns, there's no reason why Philadelphia can't be a Super Bowl favourite in the NFC still.
