Eagles Quarterback Looking to Extend Impressive Streak on TNF
The Philadelphia Eagles are living out their wildest dreams in the 2022 regular season. Sitting at 7-0 and ranking top five in points scored and points allowed, there's little doubt that they're the NFC's team to beat. They have the emergence of quarterback Jalen Hurts as a bonafide star to thank. With a win tonight, Hurts could move to 11-0 over his previous 11 games.

Hurts hasn't lost a game since a 2021 Divisional Round loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and is undefeated in the regular season since a late November loss to the New York Giants. In his 10 games since, Hurts has amassed 2508 passing yards, a 104.0 passer rating, and 392 rushing yards with only four total giveaways.
The Eagles have made every effort to surround Hurts with talent, and it is paying off in spades. They sport the league's best offensive line. They traded a first-round pick for wide receiver A.J. Brown, who has hauled in 659 receiving yards and five touchdowns. They spent the 10th overall pick on DeVonta Smith in the 2021 NFL Draft, and he has grown into an exceptional WR2. None of that would matter if Hurts weren't excelling. He makes it all go.
With a potential top-10 pick still to come in the 2023 NFL draft due to a trade with the New Orleans Saints, the future couldn't be brighter for the Eagles. Currently in the third year of his rookie contract, Hurts could be in line for a massive extension this offseason if he keeps rolling. A Super Bowl win might even land him a record-setting deal. It'd be a price the Eagles would be happy to pay.
