Cain spent training camp with the Eagles and was added to the team's practice squad after not making their 53-man roster.
The twenty-six-year-old has not played in an NFL game since 2020 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Over 13 career games in the NFL, Cain has nine receptions for 124 yards on 20 targets.
He'll look for an opportunity in the NFL with another organization now. Cain is a former sixth-round pick by the Indianapolis Colts in the 2018 NFL Draft.
