Detroit Lions Rookie Unlikely To Debut In Week 13, But Hasn't Been Ruled Out
The Detroit Lions, despite having just four wins on the season have looked very impressive with their young offensive core, and in the coming weeks, it's about to get even better, as 2022 first-round pick Jameson Williams is closing in on his NFL debut.
Many believed that could come in Week 13 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, and while it's still on the table, Head Coach Dan Campbell is quoted as saying "it would be a tall order, but anything's open", meaning the door hasn't been completely shut on a debut.
With Amon-Ra St. Brown, D.J. Chark and Josh Reynolds leading the way in 2022, this has become a very impressive wide receiver core, and if Williams can step in and be the big play threat that many saw at Alabama, this could be one of the most dangerous offensive units in the NFL for years to come.Lions’ HC Dan Campbell told reporters that for first-round pick Jameson Williams to return from his knee injury to play Sunday vs. the Jaguars would be “a tall order, but anything's open.” pic.twitter.com/3xK7IkXqbz
