Cowboys Owner Makes Declaration On Returning Offensive Lineman
The Dallas Cowboys have been one of the NFC's best teams once again in 2022, sitting at 7-3 after Week 11, and with a massive matchup against the NFC East rival New York Giants on Thanksgiving, getting a major boost would help them in their race to find a solid spot in the 2022 playoffs.
That boost could be coming very soon in the form of Tyron Smith, but that presents this very talented offensive line with a conundrum, as rookie Tyler Smith has played well in his place at left tackle, but today, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones clarified exactly what will happen once Smith eventually returns from a hamstring injury suffered in the pre-season.
Despite the solid play of veteran Connor McGovern at left guard, it appears that Smith, a potential Pro Bowl nominee as a rookie, will move over to left guard, with Tyron Smith slotting back into the left tackle slot that he's excelled at in recent years, and when he returns, it adds yet another layer to a talented Cowboys team who've been fantastic at running the ball in 2022.Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Tyron Smith will be the left tackle when he returns and Tyler Smith will play guard @1053thefan
