Commanders Star Defensive End Returns To Practice
Finally.
The Washington Commanders have designated defensive end Chase Young to return from the injured reserve.
Young is slated to practice on Wednesday, which opens a 21-day period for him to be added to the active roster.

The twenty-three-year-old star suffered ACL and MCL tears last season and is barely more than a year removed from the initial injury. It's more than likely that Washington is cautious with Young's return to action, and should work him back to game action slowly.
In 24 career NFL games, Young has 70 total tackles (47 solo), nine sacks, six forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries and six passes defended.
He is the former 2nd overall selection of the 2020 NFL Draft.
