Commanders Star Added To Active Roster From PUP List
The Washington Commanders have been arguably the hottest team in the NFL in recent weeks, with a 5-1 record in the past 6 weeks, and with Taylor Heinicke locked in as the starting QB going forward, this team has the potential to make a great playoff push, and now, they could be getting yet another boost ahead of their Week 12 clash with the Atlanta Falcons.
Today, Head Coach Ron Rivera announced that young star defensive end Chase Young is being activated to the 53-man roster from the Physically Unable to Perform List, and while it doesn't confirm that he will make his NFL return this week, it's certainly a great step in the right direction.#Commanders coach Ron Rivera announced that pass-rusher Chase Young was activated to the 53-man roster. He needs a good week of practice to play.

In his first season and a half in the NFL, Young racked up 70 tackles and 9 sacks, before tearing his ACL in Week 10 in 2021, and with Jonathan Allen already putting up a fantastic year along the defensive line, Young could be the player that takes this team over the edge, if he can get back to being himself quickly. Right now, there's optimism in the Commanders organization that Young can return this week with a good week of practice, but we will update the story as the week rolls on.
