Colts Veteran QB Will Return And Serve As Backup In Week 10
The Indianapolis Colts Quarterback situation has been so unorganized in recent years, to the point of mockery from the NFL world, and unfortunately for the talented pieces all over this team, the latest experiment certainly didn't work out, as Falcons legend Matt Ryan was a turnover machine in his time as starter for the 3-5-1 Colts team.
Before Frank Reich was moved on, the organization as a whole moved on from Matty Ice, as they replaced him with former Texas Longhorn Sam Ehlinger, who has been solid without being spectacular in two stars, and now, it appears that if they so desired, the new regime under Jeff Saturday could turn to Ryan in an instant if they need be. Ryan missed the past two weeks with a shoulder injury, with Nick Holes serving as the teams backup, but now, Ryan is officially ready to go again, and while the team is clear that Ehlinger will be the starter for the remainder of the year, Ryan can come in if needed due to injury or a replacement.
#Colts QB Matt Ryan (shoulder) was also a full participant, available for interim coach Jeff Saturday if so desired.

The Colts offence has struggled mightily with Ehlinger at QB, but with Jonathan Taylor back, they should improve a little in Week 10, but if it's not enough for Interim Head Coach Jeff Saturday, we could see a shift back to the veteran.
