Cleveland Browns Release Young Quarterback
The Cleveland Browns finally have their Quarterback, with DeShaun Watson being reinstated from his 11-game suspension today, and now, he is set up to be the teams starter against his former team in Week 13, and today, the Browns officially activated him to the 53-man roster.
Unfortunately, that means the team will need to make a corresponding move, and they did that today by releasing Quarterback Joshua Dobbs from the active roster in order to make a spot for the former Texans star QB.#Browns have officially added Deshaun Watson to the 53-man roster.

They also cut WR Chester Rogers from the practice squad and QB Josh Dobbs from the active roster.
In five seasons at the NFL level, Dobbs has played for Jacksonville, Pittsburgh and Cleveland, but has served as a career backup, attempting just 17 passes during the NFL regular season, completing 10 of them, with 0 Touchdowns and 1 Interception, and while he's not had success as a starter, he will no doubt serve as a great backup anywhere in the NFL.
