Chiefs TE Lone Player To Miss Thursday Practice
The Kansas City Chiefs only had one player miss their Thursday practice, it was tight end Jody Fortson (quad) via Chiefs Writer Herbie Teope.
Fortson, who was signed by the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent in 2019, previously missed Wednesday practice with his quadricep contusion and due to Kansas City coming off their bye week his injury could be more concerning.
The severity of the quad injury remains unclear, but the 26-year-old will have another opportunity to practice on Friday before a decision is made by the team on Sunday if he can suit up against the Titans on Sunday Night Football.
Fortson has only caught three receptions for 19 yards, but hauled in two touchdowns for his Kansas City club so far this season.
