Chiefs Cut Wide Receiver
Well, that was a short-lived experience.
The Kansas City Chiefs have cut wide receiver Dazz Newsome from their practice squad. Newsome signed on with the Chiefs' practice squad on Monday after being waived by the Chicago Bears in late August.
The #Chiefs have terminated the practice squad contract of WR Dazz Newsome and signed former #Seahawks draft pick Ugo Amadi to the practice squad. Amadi was traded twice this season (SEA to PHI and PHI to TEN). The defensive back spent most of the past two months w/ the #Titans.

The Chiefs had to release him to make room for safety Ugo Amadi.
The second-year wide receiver has caught just two passes for 23 yards over three games in his rookie season with the Bears.
Newsome will look for a new team where he can find a role for the rest of the season. He's a former sixth-round pick by the Bears in the 2021 NFL Draft.
