Allen has not practiced all week because of his hamstring.
Allen has been mostly absent from the Chargers' lineup since tweaking his hamstring in Week 1. He briefly returned in Week 7 for the team's 37-23 defeat to the Seattle Seahawks, playing a mere 23 snaps and hauling in two passes for 11 yards.More bad injury luck for the #Chargers: WR Keenan Allen (hamstring), WR Mike Williams (ankle) and TE Donald Parham Jr (hamstring) are all out for this week.

Allen's unavailability has coincided with a disappointing year for the Chargers. An offseason Super Bowl favorite, the team finds itself 11th in scoring with a 4-3 record. If Allen ever gets back on track, the Chargers could quickly reestablish themselves as one of the league's premier offenses. They ranked fifth in scoring in 2021 when Allen led the team with 106 receptions.
Allen initially joined the Chargers as their 76th overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft. He promptly emerged as an elite possession receiver, nabbing 71 receptions for 1046 yards as a rookie. He earned the first of his five consecutive Pro Bowls in his fifth year, compiling an amazing 5918 receiving yards and 32 touchdowns from 2017 to 2021.
