Chargers Tight End Clears Concussion Protocol; Should Play Week 9
He has not played since Week 6 against the Denver Broncos.
Los Angeles Chargers tight end Donald Parham has cleared concussion protocol and will play Week 9 against the Atlanta Falcons.
Josh Palmer and Donald Parham are both out of the concussion protocol, per Brandon Staley. They will practice today but still TBD if they will play Sunday.

Parham has been making strides in his recovery over the last few days by clearing concussion protocols, and his status for Sunday's game against the Falcons seems to be good to go.
The tight end has a history of concussions, but the Week 8 bye came at the right time. With the Chargers decimated at wideout with Mike Williams and Keenan Allen both projected to be out this week, it will be interesting to see if the offense deploys more tight ends. Gerald Everett and Parham could both see increased usage this coming week.
In two games this season, Parham has three receptions for 53 yards and four targets.
