Chargers Rookie Defensive Tackle Out For Season
He was carted to the locker room in Sunday's loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
Los Angeles Chargers rookie defensive tackle Otito Ogbonnia is expected to miss the rest of the 2022 season due to a quadriceps injury.

Ogbonnia had to be carted off the field during Sunday's game against the 49ers due to what was initially thought a knee injury.
However, it turns out the injury was in fact a quad injury, forcing the rookie to miss the remainder of the season.
Over his first seven NFL games, the twenty-two-year-old has 14 total tackles and three stuffs. Ogbonnia was the Chargers' fifth-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.
Sebastian Joseph-Day and Jeremiah Attaochu will likely see increased playing time now.
