Cardinals Sign Former Texans Linebacker
The Arizona Cardinals may be off to a shaky start in 2022, but they've got a chance to make a good run in the back half of the season, and while this signing isn't a move that's going to draw huge headlines, it will help to solidify this defence going forward. After asking for an being granted a release from the Houston Texans, Kamu Grugier-Hill, coming off a career year in Houston has joined the Cardinals, where he will look to help them get back into the race in the NFC West from Week 9 onwards.
In 2021, Grugier-Hill had 108 tackles and 3 sacks for a Houston team that struggled throughout the year, and after six seasons in the league, the 28-year old wanted to move on to greener pastures, and that's exactly what he has done now. He joins a defence that has veterans like J.J. Watt and Markus Golden, and now that they appear to be getting healthier, this is a team to definitely keep an eye on going forward.#AZCardinals are signing LB Kamu Grugier-Hill. He recently asked for his release from the #Texans after starting the first six games for them.

All of their success will depend on Kyler Murray, but with a solid defence, a good group of weapons and a division that is certainly winnable through Week 8, the Cardinals made a solid addition, and if we see the 2021 version of Grugier-Hill come to play, this will be a fun team for sure.
