Cardinals Quarterback Returns to Practice
The Arizona Cardinals can breathe a little easier. After a surprise absence at Wednesday's practice due to a hamstring injury, star quarterback Kyler Murray was spotted at Thursday's session.
Murray tweaked his hamstring in the Cardinals' Week 9 31-21 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. He netted a middling 140 passing yards on 40 dropbacks due in large part to the five sacks he surrendered on the day.In open part of #AZCardinals practice, QB Kyler Murray was working.

Murray's Cardinals face the Los Angeles Rams this Sunday in a game that figures to have monumental stakes in the NFC West. With both teams 3-6, a loss could very well bury either squad's playoff chances, particularly with the Seahawks or the San Francisco 49ers all but certain to win the division. Anything that might hinder or diminish Murray this week could prove catastrophic.
If the Cardinals intend to stay alive in the NFC, they'll need Murray to play much, much better against the Rams than he has recently. Including last year's Wildcard Round matchup, The Cardinals have lost three straight to their rival by a combined score of 84-46.
