Browns Cornerback Being Evaluated For Concussion At Practice
The Cleveland Browns are just two days away from taking on the Buffalo Bills at Ford Field in Detroit following a massive snow storm in Buffalo, and now, they've got some bad injury news from early in Friday's practice.
According to reports, cornerback Greg Newsome was involved in a collision at practice, and is now being evaluated for a concussion, and given how seriously the NFL has been taking it's concussion protocol in recent times, this could put his availability for the crucial Week 11 matchup in doubt.
Newsome has played in all nine games thus far in 2022 for the Cleveland Browns, recording 24 tackles, 0.5 sacks and 1 pass defended, and while the statistical output doesn't show someone key to this defence, he's been a very solid player for Cleveland, and now, he may be rushing to get healthy as they take on the very talented Buffalo Bills.#Browns Greg Newsome had a collision with a teammate and is being evaluated for a concussion. Questionable for the #Bills game.
