Broncos Waive Veteran Running Back
The Denver Broncos are having a very difficult season, as the team has accumulated just 3 wins through 10 games, despite having the best defence in the NFL (if they had scored 19 or more points in every game, the team would be 9-1), and now, they've made a massive, if not unsurprising move, as they officially waived veteran running back Melvin Gordon today.
Gordon hasn't been able to recapture past form in 2022, and with five fumbles on the year, including another one in the Week 11 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders, the team made the decision to release the veteran. It's very likely that Gordon will be claimed by someone on waivers, as his veteran presence could be good for a playoff team, but right now, the Broncos had almost no choice but to move on from him.Sources: The #Broncos make a move following Sunday’s loss, as Denver has waived veteran RB Melvin Gordon. A respected player who spent 3 years with the Broncos, Gordon’s fumbles proved too much. A fresh start for all parties.

This leaves them with three veterans, Latavius Murray, Chase Edmonds and Marlon Mack as their running backs, and while Gordon wasn't a good fit as the starter in Denver, he could make an impact somewhere if claimed on waivers.
