Broncos Running Back Placed On Injured Reserve
The Denver Broncos are having quite a massive disappointment of a 2022 season, and after releasing running back Melvin Gordon yesterday, it was expected that Chase Edmonds, along with Latavius Murray and Marlon Mack would take a majority of the carries going forward, but just hours after releasing Gordon, it was announced that Edmonds has a high ankle sprain, and would be missing a few games going forward.
Now, Edmonds has been officially placed on Injured Reserve, meaning that he will miss at least the next four games for Denver, who will turn to Murray, who has been fantastic in 2022 as their lead back, while Edmonds will look to work his way back before the 2022 NFL season concludes.Meanwhile, the #Broncos placed RB Chase Edmonds on injured reserve because of his high ankle sprain, meaning he's out at least four games. https://t.co/71SovIQTUn

In his career, Edmonds has racked up over 2,700 All-Purpose yards, and while he may not play a massive role for Denver throughout the remainder of 2022, he is still just 26-years of age, and has plenty to offer in the NFL going forward, so here's hoping he can get healthy and find a spot, if not with Denver, then with an NFL team that can use his services.
