Broncos Cornerback To Avoid Injured Reserve
The Denver Broncos offence have struggled immensely this year, which has been part of the most disappointing unit in the entire NFL, but fortunately for them, then don't find themselves too far out of the AFC Wild Card race, due to the No. 1 scoring defence in the entire NFL.
They've traded away Bradley Chubb and lost several players to injury, so their depth is certainly being tested, and will be further tested in the coming weeks, as K'Waun Williams underwent arthroscopic knee surgery, which will cause him to miss a few games. Surprisingly, the Broncos have opted not to place Williams on Injured reserve, with optimism around the organization that he could potentially return before the four week minimum set by the NFL's IR policy.
The 7th year veteran has 30 tackles, 1 sack and 1 interception thus far in 2022, and while the Broncos are certainly a long way out of the playoffs, they could go on a run in coming weeks, and if they do, getting Williams back within four weeks would be a major boost.K'Waun Williams was NOT placed on the injured reserve today.

While he's expected to miss multiple weeks needing a knee scope, Williams not going on IR keeps the possibility open that he's back within the month.
