Bills Claim Linebacker Off Waivers
He was involved in the Chicago Bears trade of Roquan Smith to the Baltimore Ravens.
The Bears then placed the linebacker on waivers.
The Buffalo Bills have claimed linebacker A.J. Klein off of waivers.
Klein was initially acquired by the Bears at the trade deadline as part of a trade that sent star LB Roquan Smith to the Ravens. However, Klein only played nine special-teams snaps over two games with the Bears, before being released from the team.

Klein spent the last two seasons with the Bills, recording 110 total tackles, five sacks, two forced fumbles, one interception and nine passes defended over 31 games.
He should be able to find a reserve/depth role behind Tremaine Edmunds and Tyrel Dodson, and could be in line for increased playing time should either player miss time.
