The good news about this, is that it could mean that wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase is close to returning from his hip injury.
Thomas got opportunities this season while Chase and Higgins dealt with injuries, appearing in 10 games and recording just two receptions for 38 yards on 10 targets.
The twenty-eight-year-old receiver will now look for another opportunity with a different team. Thomas is a former sixth-round pick by the Los Angeles Rams in the 2016 NFL Draft.
