Update On Rams Running Back Situation
He won't practice with the team this week.
Los Angeles Rams running back Cam Akers remains away from the team this week and is unlikely to play Week 8 against the San Francisco 49ers.

The Rams are holding out hope that they can trade Akers, but that seems to be wishful thinking at this point. Other teams know that the Rams want nothing to do with him, and Akers has been brutal since coming back from a torn Achilles.
At this point, it seems the team might have to end up cutting Akers.
Darrell Henderson is expected to work as the Rams' lead back, with Malcolm Brown in reserve and Kyren Williams nearing a return from the injured reserve.
