Titans QB Questionable For Week 8
The Tennessee Titans picked up a big win over the division rival Indianapolis Colts in Week 7, sending their record to 4-3 with sole possession of first place in the AFC South, but during the win, starting Quarterback Ryan Tannehill limped off the field. He would return, helping Tennessee secure the victory, but apparently, the injury was a bit worse than expected, as he is now considered questionable for the Week 8 matchup against the Houston Texans.
If he couldn't go, rookie standout Malik Willis would be the starter, and after the way he played in the pre-season, there's a good chance that if he does play, he could ignite this Titans offence to a level we've not yet seen in 2022. That talk is a bit premature however, as there's a good chance Tannehill plays, and with Derrick Henry in the backfield, there's plenty of ways to protect the veteran if he is on the field.#Titans DL Jeffrey Simmons and QB Ryan Tannehill are QUESTIONABLE for the #Texans game.

Rookie QB Mailk Willis could start if Tannehill's ankle prevents him from playing.
Thus far in 2022, Tannehill hasn't looked as good as he has in recent years, but with 6 Touchdown's to just 3 Interceptions, he's protecting the football well, and if the Titans can get back to the run game that made them the AFC's No. 1 seed in 2021, they won't need him to be explosive. Keep an eye on this situation however, because Willis seems ready to step in and lead the Titans, and if he does so with success, there could be a potential QB controversy in Tennessee.
