Philips showed up on the Titans' injury report last Friday with an ankle issue, which left him inactive in Week 7 against the Indianapolis Colts.
The injury will now keep him sidelined for at least the next four games. With other rookie WR Treylon Burks also on the IR, the Titans' receiving corps now consists of Robert Woods, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Cody Hollister and the newly signed receiver Chris Conley.
So far this season, Philips has eight catches for 78 yards on 13 targets.
