Titans Place Rookie Receiver On Injured Reserve
The Tennessee Titans have been off to a slow start in 2022, especially coming off a dominant AFC South division title a year ago, but with a strange off-season, many didn't expect them to do as well this year as they did in 2021. They've bounced back from that slow start however, and with wins in their past two games and a matchup with the Washington Commanders looming in Week 5, they have the chance to go above .500 and solidify themselves once more as first in the AFC South.
Derrick Henry has gotten rolling over the past few weeks, but without AJ Brown, many feared for Tennessee's overall offence in 2022, with plenty of pressure being placed on the shoulders of first-round wide receiver, Treylon Burks. Through four games, Burks had 10 catches for 129 yards, and while he certainly didn't produce immediately the way some expected, he flashed plenty of potential, and could be a future No. 1 for this team. The #Titans have placed first-round WR Treylon Burks on Injured Reserve because of turf toe. He’s out 4 games.

Unfortunately, during the Titans win over the rival Indianapolis Colts, Burks suffered an injury known as turf toe, and the teams hand has now been forced, as they've placed the promising young receiver on Injured Reserve, meaning he'll miss at least the next four games for Tennessee.
