Steelers Safety Officially Out In Week 5
The Pittsburgh Steelers fell to the New York Jets in Week 4, meaning that they have fallen to 1-3 early in the 2022 season, and with a stiff test against the Buffalo Bills upcoming, their season may very well be on the line in Week 5. There were fears earlier in the week that the teams star safety Minkah Fitzpatrick was going to miss Sunday's game, but thankfully for Pittsburgh's secondary, he was cleared on Friday and named good to go.
Unfortunately, his starting safety partner hasn't had the same fate, as Terrell Edmunds was today downgraded to out against Buffalo, due to the concussion issues he's been dealing with this week. After the Tua Tagovailoa situation, it's understandable if no teams in the NFL want to mess with the concussion protocol, but now, this means Pittsburgh is down a starter when they have to go and attempt to slow down the incredible Josh Allen.Steelers' starting S Terrell Edmunds (concussion) has been downgraded to out tomorrow against the Bills.

It was going to be hard regardless, as the team was already missing TJ Watt, but with another starter down, this becomes that much harder, and if the Steelers fall to 1-4 while looking up at the rest of the AFC North sitting over .500 on the season, there's a good chance it could be the end of Pittsburgh's season after just five weeks.
