Steelers Kicker Ruled Out For Week 8
The Pittsburgh Steelers have had an incredibly disappointing start to the 2022 season, with a 2-5 record through seven weeks and an undefeated Philadelphia Eagles team coming up in Week 8, and on top of that, their star linebacker T.J. Watt was unable to return to action this weekend, despite returning to practice throughout the week. That's not the only bad news for this team, as kicker Chris Boswell has also been ruled out with a groin injury, and without any proven, or even NFL experienced kickers on the active or practice squad as of Saturday evening, it's going to be very intriguing to see how Pittsburgh handle this situation.
The veteran Boswell has been with Pittsburgh since 2015, making 186 of 206 field goals for an 88.3% conversion rate, and at this point, that type of consistency and production is very hard to replicate. Before the 4pm deadline on Saturday, the team was able to sign rookie Nick Sciba out of Wake Forrest, who is yet to kick in the NFL, making a hard task against Philly even harder.Steelers ruled out K Chris Boswell for Sunday’s game vs. the Eagles due to a groin injury.

The Steelers need plenty to go right for them over the coming weeks if they want to get back into the AFC North division race, but without Boswell and Watt against a tough Eagles team in Week 8, it would take a perfect game for Pittsburgh to get their third win of the season.
