Steelers Expect Tight End To Return In Week 7
The Pittsburgh Steelers were sitting at 1-4 to start Week 6, with the season looking lost and rookie Kenny Pickett going up against the best Quarterback we've ever seen, but after the upset win over Tampa Bay, this team suddenly has life. They did all of that with Pickett leaving the game due to a concussion suffered during, as well as missing one of the best tight end's in the NFL in Pat Freiermuth, but this week, the team expect him to return as another must win game against the struggling Miami Dolphins.
Pittsburgh's offence just hasn't gotten going thus far in 2022, and with T.J. Watt still out from an injury suffered in Week 1, along with Minkah Fitzpatrick, and until they can get healthy, it's hard to see this Pittsburgh team competing for a playoff spot in 2022.Steelers' HC Mike Tomlin said QB Kenny Pickett remains in the concussion protocol but his practice work will not be limited this week. "If he can play," Tomlin said, "he will play."

The expectation is that TE Pat Freiermuth also will be cleared for Sunday night's game in Miami.
Despite the turnover at Quarterback, Freiermuth is having a solid start to the season, with 20 catches for 235 yards and a Touchdown, and after missing the teams win in Week 6, they expect him back for Week 7, as this Steelers squad look to build momentum.
