San Francisco Rule Out Several Players For Week 5
The San Francisco 49ers are sitting at 2-2 early in the 2022 NFL season, which, surprisingly, is enough for a share of first place in the NFC West, and with a matchup against the Carolina Panthers on tap, many 49ers fans believe this team can get to 3-2 after Week 5. If they are to do that, they'll need to overcome even more injuries, as on top of the injuries to Elijah Mitchell and Trey Lance, they've announced that seven key players will miss the key clash, which could prove important in a very tight NFC West division race.
Among those missing will be star defensive players Arik Armstead and Javon Kinlaw, as well as All-Pro offensive tackle Trent Williams, and that means the 49ers will have to be at their best if they are to get a win. The team still has names like Nick Bosa, George Kittle and Deebo Samuel, and given their huge upset of the Los Angeles Rams a week ago, there's no reason why they can't overcome these injuries.49ers ruled out the following players for Sunday’s game vs. the Panthers: DL Arik Armstead (foot, ankle), RB Tyrion Davis-Price (ankle), DT Javon Kinlaw (knee), TE Tyler Kroft (knee), OL Colton McKivitz (knee), DB Tarvarius Moore (hamstring), T Trent Williams (ankle).

Still, if the injury report continues at this pace, the 49ers will do very well to hold on to a playoff position, but if they can get healthy, this could potentially be one of the best teams in the entire NFC, and could be very dangerous come playoff time.
