Saints Wide Receiver Officially Out In Week 5
The New Orleans Saints have been one of the NFL's biggest disappointments through four weeks, as their 1-3 record has them sitting in last place in the NFC South, and with a tough road ahead, it's hard to see them climbing their way out of this hole in a hurry. The team has already announced that Andy Dalton will make his second straight start due to a Jameis Winston injury, and now, Dennis Allen has revealed that Michael Thomas will also miss his second straight game.
The former All-Pro started the season off well, with 171 receiving yards and 3 Touchdown's on 16 catches through three weeks, but with the injuries starting to mount up again, it's not good for a New Orleans team that were counting on him regaining health in 2022.#Saints WR Michael Thomas is out, per Dennis Allen. With a crucial matchup against the Seahawks ahead of them, the Saints will be down several key offensive weapons, and if they fall to 1-4, with the talent ahead of them in the NFC South and the NFC, it's very hard to see them making a run. If they can pick up a win and Thomas can return soon, the season has a whole new outlook for the Saints, so this one could be the most important game of the week, but they'll go to battle without WR1.
