Both Thomas (ankle) and Landry (ankle) remained out of practice this week, which ultimately may have been indicative in Allen's decision of ruling out his offensive players ahead of Sunday.
Thomas will now miss his fifth straight campaign as he continues to rehab his foot injury and it will make a fourth straight miss for Landry, who continues to deal with his variant of ankle concerns.
Saints' cornerback Marshon Lattimore (abdomen) also remained absent from practice this week, but his status remains questionable ahead of their Week 8 matchup vs. the Raiders.
New Orleans (2-5) are currently tied with Carolina and ranked last in the NFC South, but with the surprise downfall of the Buccaneers so far this season, it leads to definite Wild Card optimism for the Saints club if they add some games to their win column in the coming weeks.
