Saints Cornerback Misses Second Straight Day Of Practice
The New Orleans Saints are an interesting team in 2022, as they have the talent to be a genuine playoff team, but unfortunately at this point, all of their star players are either injured each week or just not able to perform with the talent around them. On Thursday, for the second straight day, three of the teams best players were all not practicing again, with star cornerback Marshon Lattimore being among them, which isn't a good sign for this defence.
The four-time Pro Bowler has been with the Saints since he was drafted back in 2017, and over that time, he's been one of the best in the league, accumulating 313 tackles, 75 pass deflections, 13 interceptions, 5 forced fumbles, 5 fumble recoveries and 1 defensive Touchdown, an already impressive resume for a still improving 26-year old. Lattimore has been dealing with an abdomen issue, and as of right now, doesn't have a designation for their Week 6 battle with the Cincinnati Bengals, but if he remains out of practice, it's tough to see him matching up with Ja'Marr Chase. No practice today for a second straight day for Saints’ WRs Jarvis Landry and Michael Thomas as well as CB Marshon Lattimore.

The team still has the potential to win some games and make a playoff right, but right now, they're just not able to stay healthy, and that may come back to haunt them in the long run.
