Raiders Signing Veteran Receiver To Active Roster

The Las Vegas Raiders have been in the news for all the wrong reasons lately, as the team has struggled to win games in 2022, starting with a 1-4 record, as well as injuries to star receivers and tight ends, and to cap off a division loss last night, their star receiver has now been filed in a police report and will likely end in a league sanctioned suspension. On the good news, if that does indeed happen, the Raiders have now added a veteran depth piece at wide receiver, so if Davante Adams is to be suspended for any length of time, the Raiders will potentially be able to cover for him.

Just this past week, Las Vegas added veteran Albert Wilson to the practice squad, and a day after suffering their fourth loss of the season, the team has officially signed him to the active roster, in hopes this offence can get rolling at the elite level many expected when the 2022 NFL season began.

Wilson, a veteran of nine years with the Chiefs and Dolphins has put up over 2,600 all purpose yards in his career, to go along with 13 Touchdown's, may not be the biggest name on the market, but for a Raiders team that's quietly looking to get better, this is a solid move. The team has been good, but just not good enough to get over the top in the majority of their games, and while Wilson won't send them completely over the top, they have the talent to figure it out on their own.
