Raiders Pro Bowl Linebacker Suffers Concussion
The Las Vegas Raiders could be short one of their leaders and stars on the defensive side of the ball for the near future. Linebacker Denzel Perryman exited the team's crucial divisional matchup against the Green Bay Packers with a concussion.

Perryman had missed the previous two weeks with an ankle injury sustained in Week 1. He got off to an impressive start in his return, notching a sack and a pass deflection in his limited snaps, but he'll miss the remainder of Week 4 and should be considered questionable for Week 5's matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs as well. Darien Butler will likely see increased snaps in his absence.
Perryman joined the Raiders in 2021 and immediately made a massive impact on the inside of their defense, earning the first Pro Bowl of his eight-year career. The linebacker had actually signed with the Carolina Panthers earlier in the 2021 offseason, but the Raiders traded for the former Los Angeles Charger after he was deemed a poor fit. It proved a heady move for the Raiders; Perryman rewarded Las Vegas with career highs in starts, tackles, and passes defended.Welcome back, @D_Perryman52!!
