Packers Receiver Likely To Miss Week 8 Battle With Buffalo
The Green Bay Packers have lost their past three games, all to below average Quarterbacks in Daniel Jones, Zach Wilson and Taylor Heinicke, and while the defence hasn't been as good as expected in 2022, it's certainly the offence that is most to blame for the very slow start thus far. Without any big weapons to replace Davante Adams, Aaron Rodgers had to deal with a starting group of Sammy Watkins, Randall Cobb and Allen Lazard, and now, following Cobb's injury a week ago, it appears that Lazard will miss the Packers Week 8 clash with the Buffalo Bills.
Lazard joked about the shoulder injury, saying that he heard a 'snap, crackle and pop' in his left shoulder, but also re-assured that it wasn't a long term injury, but one that would certainly keep him out of the crucial matchup with Buffalo. The team is certainly outmatched as they battle the Bills on Sunday night, and if they fall again to the dominant, AFC leading Bills, that would have the Packers sitting at 3-5 on the season with plenty of work to do to avoid an embarrassing season in 2022.Allen Lazard said he heard a “snap, crackle and pop” in his left shoulder.

“And the three Rice Krispie men showed up, too.”
On a serious note, he said this week vs. Buffalo is probably a no go. But he’s not concerned that it’s a long-term issue.
The Packers will certainly be in the discussions for a wide receiver ahead of the trade deadline, and if they can't swing for a big name that can make a genuine, immediate impact, the rest of Green Bay's season could be a waste, despite the Hall of Fame talent they have playing Quarterback.
