Packers' QB Misses Practice Wednesday, Should Play Sunday
Green Bay Packers superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers is scheduled to miss practice on Wednesday, according to head coach Matt LaFleur via ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Rodgers is out of practice due to a thumb injury he sustained in his clubs' 27-22 loss against the New York Giants in London last Sunday.
However, Green Bay's coach is not overly concerned about the four-time MVP missing action in Week 6..
"We don't have much concern as far as gameday," LaFleur said about the status of his signal-caller for their Sunday matchup vs. the New York Jets.
The Packers, who currently reside with a 3-2 record, are looking to get back on the winning column after a close, yet crushing defeat from the Giants in Week 5. They rank second behind the Minnesota Vikings, who lead the NFC North with a 4-1 record.
