Week 6 saw its fair share of sensational performances from young players, but these three rookies stood out from the rest by making huge plays in winning efforts for their teams.

Quarterback Bailey Zappe, New England Patriots
The New England Patriots may be better off starting a new rookie quarterback every year. Bailey Zappe had the best game of his young career in the Patriots' Week 6 38-15 demolition of the Cleveland Browns, throwing for 301 net yards and a pair of touchdowns. Zappe has actually outplayed second-year quarterback Mac Jones through six weeks of the regular season, managing a 111.4 passer rating while winning two games to Jones' one and throwing one interception to Jones' five. There may not be a quarterback controversy yet in New England, but the Patriots clearly don't need to rush Jones back to the lineup before he's ready.

Running Back Breece Hall, New York Jets
The New York Jets shocked the world by dominating the Green Bay Packers 27-10 in Week 6, and perhaps no player was more pleasantly surprising than running back Breece Hall. This year's 36th overall pick set a career-high with 116 rushing yards at an efficient 5.8 yards per carry clip, including a crucial fourth-quarter 34-yard scamper for a touchdown. No rookie has been better the past two weeks: Hall totalled 197 yards for scrimmage in Week 5 against the Miami Dolphins.

Cornerback Tariq Woolen, Seattle Seahawks
The Seattle Seahawks are getting serious Richard Sherman vibes from their 2022 fifth-round pick Tariq Woolen. The jumbo-sized corner has been a revelation through six weeks, leading the league with four interceptions. He made his biggest play of the season so far against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, skying for a game-sealing interception while matched up with wide receiver Marquise Brown. Only allowing 35.8 passer rating on throws in his direction this year, Woolen appears to be a surprise star in the making.
