NFL Rumors: Three Playoff Teams Have Called On Texans Receiver
The NFL is about to heat up even more than it already is, as the trade deadline is just days away, and with several teams looking to make improvements to their team in order to solidify their chances of a Super Bowl victory in early 2023, rumours will begin flying each and every day. One of those that isn't a surprise is teams calling on Texans wide receiver Brandin Cooks, who has been one of the most consistent receivers in the NFL throughout his career, and on a team with no chance of making the playoffs, it makes sense for both sides to part ways.
Now, it has been confirmed that three playoff teams, the Kansas City Chiefs, Green Bay Packers and Los Angeles Rams have all called Houston about Cooks, and while no one is sure what the Houston front office are asking for Cooks, he's a receiver worth paying the price for.
In his career, Cooks has already been traded three times, but has continued to consistently put up amazing numbers wherever he goes, including six 1,000 yard seasons with four different teams, so he is one of the most valuable players available at the deadline. Expect more teams to get involved in the Cooks sweepstakes, but for now, it appears three contenders are already calling Houston in order to snag him before the major bidding war begins. The #Chiefs, #Packers and #Rams have contacted the #Texans regarding trading for WR1 Brandin Cooks.
