NFL Rumors: Panthers Defensive Star Seen As Untouchable In Trade Talks
Today, news came out that the Carolina Panthers were going to begin listening to trade offers on Christian McCaffrey, and naturally, people began to believe that every player on the team worth something would be sold, and while there's a chance that a few players will get shipped out, Carolina have a group of players that they have reportedly deemed 'untouchable'.
Contrary to some reports, the Panthers have included star defender Brian Burns in that group, as they see him as someone that can change a franchise going forward, and believe that he'd even be able to help the team draw a new coach into town.Brian Burns is unlikely to be made available, according to @RapSheet.

He is among a group of players that “are considered building blocks for the future, the kind of players who would draw a new coach.” https://t.co/WNy88f9BRW
In three seasons, Burns has racked up 25.5 sacks to go along with 6 forced fumbles and a defensive Touchdown, and if the Panthers are to turn it around anytime soon, he will certainly be a big part of that. D.J. Moore and Christian McCaffrey are two names that could potentially be on the move, but as of right now, it looks like Burns is considered a crucial part of the future of this franchise, and won't be going anywhere anytime soon.
