NFL Rumors: Eagles Receiving Interest In Young Offensive Tackle
The Philadelphia Eagles are sitting in the prime position in the NFL right now, as they are currently undefeated with a 6-0 record, have just made a move to get Robert Quinn from the Chicago Bears, and not only do they still have their own first-round pick and one owed to the New Orleans Saints (which could be a very high pick), they also have expendable players garnering trade interest.
That would come in the form of Andre Dillard, a young, experienced tackle, who is currently riding the bench behind the young standout left tackle Jordan Mailata, and while depth is good, the Eagles could potentially fill another hole of need by moving Dillard. There's been no confirmation whether or not Philadelphia are entertaining the interest and offers, but right now, they are in the perfect position to make almost any move they would like ahead of a playoff run following their Week 7 bye.
Dillard has been featured in trade rumours for the past year, and while he's never been moved yet, the Eagles are in a great spot to deal him in favour of a position of genuine need, and with experience and youth on his side, Dillard would be a great pickup for any team in need of a tackle for the remainder of the 2022 season.Sources tell @theScore two quality OL who are receiving interest and available for the right price: #Broncos LG Dalton Risner and #Eagles LT Andre Dillard, currently behind Jordan Mailata. Both players are in the final year of their rookie contracts and both are proven starters.
