NFL Rumors: Colts Star RB Returns To Practice, Chance To Play Sunday
Indianapolis Colts star running back Jonathan Taylor returned to practice on Thursday showing signs of progress to possibly play on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to The Athletic's Zak Keefer.
Taylor, who earned first-team All-Pro honors last season, suffered a Grade 1 ankle sprain in Week 4 against the Tennessee Titans and has been limited participant in practice ever since.
The severity of the leg injury was unclear, but after Taylor missed his first ever practice with the Indianapolis club several days ago it was evident that he must have been dealing with a somewhat serious injury.
Taylor did not play in last Thursday's 12-9 victory against the Denver Broncos due to the injury and did not practice all last week.
