The Browns (2-5) add another key player to their injury report as tight end David Njoku could also miss a long period of time with an ankle injury he suffered on Sunday.
The loss of Phillips is a huge blow to a Cleveland Browns defense that has been heavily relied upon, especially due to their counterparts on offense not fulfilling their obligations, adding yet another loss to their streak (four in a row).
Phillips, a former third-rounder from LSU in 2020, now totals two serious injuries in two seasons. He played in just four games last year after suffering a biceps injury in training camp.
Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said his LB got hurt while making a tackle near the sideline against the Ravens offense.
