Cincinnati Bengals lead receiver Ja'Marr Chase could be sidelined for multiple weeks with a hip injury, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Chase initially injured his hip during the Bengals Week 6 victory (30-26) against the New Orleans Saints, but unfortunately reaggravated it last week against the Atlanta Falcons, Schefter adds.

Chase will likely land on Cincinnati's injured reserve list in the coming days and should return before the end of the regular season. He will reportedly not require any surgery for his hip related injury, but rather rest and rehab instead, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
The former LSU product, who was selected fifth overall by the Bengals in the 2021 draft, became NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year last season after catching 81 receptions for 1455 yards, and 13 touchdowns.
Chase also helped lead his squad to the Super Bowl during his singular campaign, and currently leads all Bengals in receiving yards with 605, and six touchdowns. His connection with quarterback Joe Burrow will surely be missed when the Bengals are set to faceoff against their Ohio rivals, the Cleveland Browns on upcoming Monday Night Football.
