NFL Rumors: 49ers' All-Pro LT Could Return in Week 7
There is a chance that the 49ers get LT Trent Williams (high ankle sprain) back against Kansas City.

"We have a much better chance this week than we did last week with Trent," Shanahan said
Williams has been unavailable since suffering a high-ankle sprain in Week 3 against the Denver Broncos. He earned a 79.5 overall grade from Pro Football Focus across his three appearances.
Williams' return should be transformative for the 49ers. The nine-time Pro Bowler is one the very best players in the NFL, and by some accounts, the best player. He led the league with a staggering 97.8 overall grade from PFFin 2021.

Williams joined the 49ers via a blockbuster trade with the Washington Commanders in 2020 after sitting out the 2019 season. He quickly picked up where he left off, earning his eighth Pro Bowl in his first season with the 49ers and his first All-Pro the following year. His presence should enhance every aspect of the 49ers offense.
