New Orleans Officially Confirm QB Is Out In Week 4
The New Orleans Saints have been disappointing early in 2022, and to make things worse, it seems like they'll be missing plenty of offensive firepower in Week 4, with Michael Thomas out, and the potential for star running back Alvin Kamara to join him. To compound things, the Saints have now officially confirmed that starting Quarterback Jameis Winston has been ruled out as well, meaning that veteran Andy Dalton will get the start as the Saints look to battle back to 2-2 early in the campaign.
Dalton is one of the best backup QB's in the league, as he's capable of stepping in and performing and leading a talented team to victory, but without stars on the offence, it's going to potentially be very tough sledding in Week 4. Minnesota on the other hand is a team that is healthy and ready to continue being great in 2022, as they look to push on to 3-1 and continue leading the NFC North, so if the Saints are to hang on in the absence of their stars, they'll need to push a big time upset. The #Saints make it official, downgrading QB Jameis Winston from doubtful to out. Andy Dalton will start.

Winston hasn't been setting the league on fire in 2022, but he remains a very talented player, capable of leading a team to the playoffs, but without him, it's hard to see the Saints winning many games, especially with the caliber of talent missing from this squad in Week 4.
