New Chiefs Receiver Says He's Healthy And Ready To Go
The Kansas City Chiefs made a trade for former Giants wide receiver Kadarius Toney just a matter of hours ago, and with his first comments since the trade went down, Toney has confirmed that he's healthy, an indicator that he will be ready to go for his first action as a member of the Chiefs in Week 9 following their bye week.
We know that this may not carry too much weight, as Toney has been injured more than many players in his first year and a half in the NFL, but he was nearing a return from a hamstring injury that has kept him out for weeks, so this should allow him a full two weeks of practice before suiting up for the first time for Kansas City. With many talented weapons on the outside, Toney could become a star in the slot for Andy Reid and this Chiefs team, and after giving up just a conditional third round pick, it could become an absolute steal of a trade.New Chiefs WR Kadarius Toney says he is now healthy.

He'd recently been on the Giants' injury report due to a hamstring injury.
Sounds like he could be on the field in Week 9. https://t.co/DhJ8vxTrj6
We will wait to see just how healthy Toney is when the Chiefs step foot on the field yet again, but right now, this is a good sign for the young receiver, who we hope can stay healthy and on the field for years to come, as he possesses all the talent needed to be a star in the NFL.
