Lions Lead Running Back Officially Ruled Out Sunday, Receiver Questionable
Detroit Lions running back D'andre Swift is officially ruled out Sunday against the New England Patriots, the team announced on their injury report on Friday.
Swift is still battling a shoulder/ankle injury he suffered in the Week 3, 28-24 loss against the Minnesota Vikings and did not practice all week. The 23-year-old also didn't play last week either when his club was defeated in a heartbreaking 48-45 loss against the Seattle Seahawks.
Swift, who was drafted as a third selection in second round of the 2020 NFL Draft, has rushed 27 times for 231 yards and one touchdown so far in his 2022-23 campaign.
The Lions ascending receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown is listed as questionable for Sunday's contest due to an ankle injury. He was limited in practice this week and did not play in Week 4. He has 23 receptions for 253 yards and 3 touchdowns so far this year.
