Jets Wide Receiver Returns After Trade Request

The NFL was shocked yesterday when second year receiver Elijah Moore was sent home from practice, just days after a Twitter tirade about his usage, and while the Jets tried to keep it quiet, excusing his absence as a 'personal day', he then officially asked the team for a trade, a demand to which they are adamantly not granting.

It wasn't clear where things would go after the request, as some fans expected him to never play for the Jets again, while others expected him to be back immediately, and it appears that the latter is correct, as Moore is back in the building today as the team prepares for a matchup with the Denver Broncos, as they look to continue their best start to a season since 2015. Through six games, Moore has 16 catches for 203 yards as this young team tries to figure out their game plan and identity, and if they can get him back on board, it's a big positive for such a promising squad.

Only time will tell how this plays out with the chemistry surrounding the Jets going forward, but right now, Moore is back in the building and it appears back on the field, and we've seen fences mended, like with Deebo Samuel in recent times, so there's a good chance the Jets can get him back on the field and firing. But for now, all we can do is sit and wait as the drama continues to unfold surrounding a talented young New York Jets team.
