Injury Update On Patriots' Trade Candidate; Left Week 8 After First Play Of Game
New England Patriots wide receiver DeVante Parker left the game after the first play of the game.
Parker was targeted by Mac Jones on the Patriots' first play from scrimmage and came up limping on the incompletion, going to the medical tent before the team eventually ruled him out from the game.
It was later confirmed that Parker suffered a knee sprain during Sunday's 22-17 win over the New York Jets.
Pretty good news for the #Patriots and WR DeVante Parker, who suffered just a knee sprain on the first play in Sunday's win, source said. If he misses time, it'll likely only be one game. Could be back after the bye.

The good news, however, is that Parker is not expected to miss time.
Parker would only be expected to miss one game if he does miss time, per Ian Rapoport, as the Patriots will have a bye following Week 9's matchup against the Indianapolis Colts.
That is, if Parker is still a member of the Patriots by this time next week, as the wide receiver is drawing interest from around the league prior to Tuesday's trade deadline.
Through Week 8, Parker has 15 catches for 321 yards and a touchdown on 28 targets.
